Also known as Dyneema and comparable to Spectra, this rope is made of high-performance polyethylene that remains strong even when wet. It is often used as a lightweight alternative to wire rope. This rope resists UV rays and will float in water. It's braided with a hollow core, so it's easier to splice than other rope for adding a fitting or connecting rope together. It knots easily and does not rotate under load. A polyurethane coating provides additional resistance to wear in high-friction applications.Note: The safety factor for capacity is 5:1. Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
