Step on or roll carts and platform trucks over these M12 cords without crushing them. A protective layer of stainless steel makes these the most crush- and abrasion-resistant M12 cords we offer. It also prevents damage from pests that chew through cords. The stainless steel and PVC outer layer keep moisture from corroding the cord, so they can be used outdoors and near chemicals as well. Despite the stainless steel covering, these cords are still flexible enough to route around equipment. Threaded ends create a tight connection that seals out contaminants and won’t shake loose from the vibration of automated machines.These cords have a standardized code layout to reduce the chances of accidentally mis-mating them. All are A-coded to send signal and power to AC and DC devices. A-coded cords are often used with sensors, actuators, and motors in automated systems. They also connect devices to IO Link controllers and within fieldbus systems, such as Profibus and DeviceNet.When mated or capped, these cords meet IP ratings.IP67 cords withstand temporary submersion. IP69 cords are protected from dust and high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns.Add caps to protect connectors and maintain their IP ratings when not in use.Note: Sockets may have extra holes on the face that are not used.
