With a sanitary design for food-processing environments, these speed reducers mount to the face of your motor—no coupler required—to slow shafts and increase torque while transmitting motion at a 90° angle. The 316 stainless steel housing resists corrosion from frequent washdowns with harsh cleaners. Rated IP69K, they’re dust- and water-tight against high-pressure and high-temperature washdowns. Rounded edges and a polished surface make the housing easy to clean and leave no crevices for bacteria to grow in. To protect against leaks and contamination, they have double input and output seals.Since multiple teeth come in contact at once, these speed reducers are more durable and create more torque than other speed reducers of the same size. They’re often used to generate large amounts of torque in tight spaces. To save maintenance time, they’re permanently lubricated.Radial loads are loads that are perpendicular to the shaft.
