Internal Teeth Retaining Ring

Manufacturer part: 97244A118

With teeth along the inside, these retaining rings hold chamfered shafts inside the housing of your equipment. That’s why they’re commonly used to retain shafts in roller drum systems and other heavy duty equipment. Made from spring steel, squeeze them into or remove them from the groove with retaining ring pliers. These rings have a black-phosphate finish that won’t corrode in dry environments. All meet DIN 984, an international standard for retaining ring specifications.Ring OD is measured with the ring uninstalled.
