However, the teeth may mar your material and snag on objects. Pair these washers with fasteners that are large enough to make contact with the external teeth, such as pan, button, and binding head screws.Wear-Resistant 410 Stainless Steel—These grip hard material better than other types of stainless steel. They are not as corrosion resistant as 18-8 and 316 stainless steel, so they are best for environments that experience occasional moisture.
