A high current rating makes these connectors suitable for use in industrial machinery and floodlights. Current rating is based on using these connectors with the largest size 194° F rated cable in the wire size range given; current ratings decrease as the cable size decreases. The housing is shatter- and crack-resistant rubber so they can withstand rough environments. Push and twist to join plugs and sockets. When mated, they form a vibration-resistant connection to prevent accidental disconnection. Rated NEMA 3R, they protect against falling liquids and light splashing.Adapters (sold separately) allow you to change the connector’s gender and make multiple connections from a single power source.Caps (sold separately) protect connectors when not in use.
