Often used in steel mills and glass plants, aluminized clothing reflects radiant heat and protects against sparks. These jackets have no pockets so they won’t trap hot particles. They have snaps down the front and on the cuffs. A flap down the front has pull tabs to allow for quick removal.Rayon provides good radiant-heat protection as well as moderate spark protection and protection against molten metal splashes.When measuring chest size, measure around the fullest part of your chest. Jackets are oversized to fit over work clothes; take all measurements over any clothing you expect to wear under the jacket.
