Often used in steel mills and glass plants, aluminized clothing reflects radiant heat and protects against sparks. These coats have no pockets so they won’t trap hot particles. They have snaps down the front and on the cuffs. A flap down the front has pull tabs to allow for quick removal.PBI/Kevlar aramid blend is lighter than other Kevlar blends. It provides excellent heat and abrasion resistance without weighing you down.When measuring chest size, measure around the fullest part of your chest. Coats are oversized to fit over work clothes; take all measurements over any clothing you expect to wear under the coat.
