Use these tags to efficiently scan, track, and manage inventory and other items in highly volatile areas. Intrinsically safe, they meet ATEX international certification to protect against explosion in environments containing flammable gases. Unlike bar codes, these tags store and share loads of information without needing a line of sight to scan. Their high frequency lets them transfer data at short distances—about 4 in. away from an RFID reader/writer. Capable of both read and write functions, their memory can be repeatedly rewritten and reused. Use them to provide feedback to automated tracking systems and devices, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs). They’re also more durable than bar codes, which can wear out over time. Tags meet ISO and IEC standards for frequency ranges, and they’re IP67 rated, so they’ll still work if they get dusty or wet.
