Polyethylene foam offers better resistance to chemicals than polyurethane foam and is also superior when insulating packaged objects from external temperatures. Foam has closed-cell construction, which restricts water, air, and gases from being absorbed. These sheets have an ultra-smooth texture for a sleek surface that's easy to wipe down.Adhesive-back sheets are made of polyethylene that is FDA compliant; however, their adhesive does not meet these specifications.
