Mount machinery, railings, and framing in walls and floors. These anchors have a sleeve that expands inside your hole to create a strong grip. Since the gripping force is distributed along the entire length of the anchor, it won’t crack soft materials like block and brick. You can use these anchors as an alternative to wedge anchors in concrete near edges, corners, or other weak points, but they are not as strong. To install, drive the anchor through your machinery into a drilled hole until the head meets the surface. Then, tighten the nut or flat head to expand the anchor sleeve. Remove your machinery by unfastening the nut or flat head, but the anchor itself cannot be removed.Anchors with Flat Head—The flat head creates a flush finish in countersunk holes.Zinc-Plated Steel—The most common choice for areas with occasional exposure to moisture.
