This sleeving withstands temperatures over 1000° F, such as in refineries. Made of fiberglass, it resists acids, alkalies, oil, and solvents so it won’t degrade when exposed to substances such as grease, ammonia, or harsh detergents. Because this sleeving is non-expandable, it does not stretch, so it’s best for applications where you know the exact diameter of the items you need to protect.Acrylic-coated sleeving is heat treated and has good abrasion and chemical resistance. It’s more rigid and fray resistant than uncoated fiberglass sleeving.
