EMI/RFI Shielding Polyurethane Foam Gasket

Manufacturer part: 4046N31

These gaskets absorb electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) to prevent inaccurate signals, flickering displays, and other electrical problems. They compress to fill gaps and complete a grounding path around doors and access panels.Sheets work well between two flat surfaces.Polyurethane foam gaskets are covered with either a conductive nickel/copper braided fabric or conductive aluminum foil. A nonconductive adhesive holds them in place. To protect sensitive equipment, they block at least twice as much interference as urethane foam gaskets. Cut these gaskets to length with scissors.Gaskets that meet UL 94 V-0 self-extinguish within 10 seconds if they catch fire and won’t spread the fire by dripping.
