Sets include an assortment of handles and tips for pulling material out of tight spots. Replace tips when they become worn or to use a different style. Also known as packing extractors, they are often used to extract packing material from pump and valve seals.Corkscrew tips twist into material for a firm hold.Wood screw tips are used to drill into and remove hardened packing when corkscrew tips are unable to get a secure hold on your material.Machine screw tips thread into tapped holes. They're good for removing stuck or seized metallic components that can't be gripped easily.Brush tips have stiff bristles that clean debris out of cavities after material has been pulled out with a screw tip.Flexible Shaft—Flexible-shaft pullers bend to access material in tight spots.
