Remove the surface layer of these plates to create an engraved message in a contrasting color. Made of plastic, they withstand mild acids and are more corrosion resistant than metal plates.Adhesive-back plates stick to surfaces. Use them when you only have access to one side of a surface, or when components behind a panel could be damaged by bolts or rivets.ABS plates are the most common option for rotary engravers. Don't use them with laser engravers since they will burn.
